We amused ourselves by collecting some funny statistics about our event …

• 300 participants in total
• 18 edited projects
• 28% women
• Participants from 15 countries, including a lot of refugees
• 44 km walked by aides during the hackathon
• 54 days from the first idea (a tweet on twitter) until the hackathon
• 8 members of the organisational core team (less in the first weeks)
• more than 20 more aides during the hackathon
• Expenses : 11.111€ – additionally to the diverse material donations like free working space, juice, FritzKola and office supplies. Our intakes cover the expenses, a small 3-digit amount was left over which will be used for sustainability (see part 5 of the results pages).
• Food and drinks:
